When I first moved to Vegas a rich patron of the Arts put on a yearly concert for a 4 piece rhythm section with 21 Strings...

He asked me to do it, but I had to tell him, that I didn't have charts for that instrumentation.
In comes Joe Lano who said, no worries and wrote all the tunes in a marathon session.

I heard them for the first time at the soundcheck/rehearsal and the concert happened two hours later! It was a wonderful affair.

I was so moved by Joe's beautiful arrangements and I was afraid that I'd never hear those charts again... so I took it into the studio to record it all!

Ruth Brown, the fantastic Blues singer and Las Vegas resident happened to in the audience, and we met...she was very sweet to me.
